The
Hammonds Plains Christian Church Welcomes
you.
Hammonds
Plains Christian Church began on January 14, 2001, as
a church committed to bring the benefits of the Christian
faith to the people and families of this area. Although
HPCC is non-denominational, it is associated with other
Christian Churches and Churches of Christ in the Maritimes
and throughout the world. It also strives to work in
unity with other local churches to further the cause
of Christ. Our church was started as a project of P.A.C.E.,
Partners in Atlantic Canada Evangelism, a church planting
ministry of the Maritime Christian Churches and Churches
of Christ.
HPCC is
characterized by a warm, relaxed atmosphere,
casual dress, upbeat music, and Bible-based
messages that apply to life. Since the
Christian life is one of love, joy,
and hope, and since the Christian faith
is completely relevant to daily life,
we believe that the church should be
also.
Obviously, HPCC is more concerned with the building
of Christian lives rather than building a house of worship.
We met at Madeline Symonds Middle School for two years,
Hammonds Plains Consolidated School for three years
and now we meet for worship each Sunday morning at 10:30
at the Hammonds Plains Firefighters' Hall, 2041 Hammonds
Plains Road. Our future plans are to be a blessing to
the community, and with that in mind any building that
we acquire or build will be open and useful to the community.
We extend to you
a warm, sincere welcome. Thanks for
your interest in us.
