News from Hammonds Plains
Hammonds Plains Christian Church is undergoing some big changes! Our Pastor Jerry Patterson and his family have moved to Rochester, New York where Jerry will be serving as Minister of Worship with Anchor Christian Church. We are very grateful for what Pastor Jerry and his family have contributed to HPCC. We wish them all the best. Our church is now without a pastor but not without leadership! With many dedicated families in the congregation, everyone is doing their share of the work to ensure we are continuing to grow in our own personal walk with Christ as well as reaching out to all the �Pre-Christians� in the Hammonds Plains area.
In August 2008 we had an outreach community BBQ to benefit the local chapter of the Boy Scouts of Canada and raised $307 for their programs. In September we also had a wonderful fellowship breakfast with lots of delicious food which provided an opportunity for our regular attenders to invite their family and friends.
